Nuweiba Port to Reopen as Maritime Traffic Resumes

The Red Sea Ports Authority announced the reopening of Nuweiba Port in South Sinai, following improved weather conditions. Maritime activities have resumed, marking a return to regular sea route operations in the region.

Port and meteorological officials are collaborating closely to monitor wind patterns and ensure navigation safety, protecting both personnel and property.

The Meteorological Authority cautioned that while overall conditions have improved, intermittent wind and dust activity may still occur in Greater Cairo, South Sinai, Upper Egypt, and along the Red Sea mountains. Forecasts also indicate the possibility of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in areas including Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Shalateen, Halaib, and Abu Simbel.
