The programme introduces headline initiatives such as a 10-day paid marriage leave for spouses employed in Dubai government offices, designed to support newlyweds.
The first phase of the ‘Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme’, an initiative that introduces several key benefits aimed at fostering work-life balance and supporting Emirati families, has officially launched in Dubai.
Led by Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the programme introduces headline initiatives such as a 10-day paid marriage leave for spouses employed in Dubai government offices, designed to support newlyweds.
Additionally, the programme includes a remote work option on Fridays for mothers during their first year after maternity leave, easing the transition back into the workforce and allowing more time for childcare and family responsibilities.
The ‘Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme’ also collaborates with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment to prioritize the allocation of ready-made housing for loan beneficiaries participating in the Dubai Weddings programme, which was launched in January 2024.
Future phases of the ‘Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme’ will introduce additional benefits in education, health, and social services.
