The Cool Cat Experience Hosts Its Last Sohour Popup
The Cool Cat Experience, Cairo’s interactive pop-up supper club, hosts its final Ramadan sohour pop-ups at Ghurnata Community Space, Heliopolis, on March 12th and 13th.
The Cool Cat Experience is a pop-up supper club that invites guests to sit back and enjoy a meal without choosing a thing. Inspired by Omakase, the Japanese practice where the chef decides every course, each dish is part of a larger, carefully crafted journey.
Founded by Chef Hazem Abddghany, Ali Abu El Ezz, and Yasmin Mahrous, Cool Cat has hosted over 20 pop-ups and created more than 200 original recipes, with every event changing location, menu, and overall flow. The idea is simple: relax, trust the chefs, and enjoy a meal that unfolds like a story.
For their Ramadan residency, Cool Cat brings this concept to sohour. Long tables fill the intimate Ghurnata Community Space in Heliopolis, with courses designed to be shared. Coffee, tea, and fresh juices accompany the meal, giving the evening a relaxed, late-night rhythm.
Their last pop-ups of the year will take place on March 12th and 13th, starting at 10 PM. Seats are limited, and reservations can be made via The Cool Cat Experience’s Instagram page DMs.
