Piers Morgan & Grand Imam to Headline Arab Media Summit 2025 in Dubai
Britain's Pier Morgan, Bollywood’s Saif Ali Khan, and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, headline the event.
The Arab Media Summit 2025 will be held in Dubai from May 26th to the 28th, bringing together more than 6,000 participants and 300 speakers from around the world. Organised by the Dubai Press Club under the directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, the summit will spotlight the future of media with a focus on artificial intelligence, social media, storytelling, and creative industries.
Headlining the list of international and regional speakers are British broadcaster Piers Morgan, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb. High-level Arab officials, including Lebanon’s Prime Minister and Syria’s Foreign Minister, are also scheduled to participate alongside several Arab information ministers.
The summit includes three core events: the Arab Media Forum, the Arab Youth Media Forum, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit. This year’s edition also introduces the Film and Gaming Forum, a new platform positioning Dubai as a regional hub for creative industries. Masterclasses will be held in collaboration with major platforms including Google, TikTok, Instagram, and Disney.
The Dubai Press Club will also release the Arab Media Outlook 2025, which presents data-driven insights into regional media trends and economic opportunities. Three awards ceremonies—the Arab Media Award, the Arab Youth Media Award, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Award—will honour outstanding achievements across journalism and digital content creation.
