Pope Tawadros II Inaugurates St Mary & St Bishoy Church in New Cairo
The St Mary & St Bishoy Church in New Cairo's Fifth Settlement receives its blessings from the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, has inaugurated the St Mary & St Bishoy Church in New Cairo's Fifth Settlement. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several priests and bishops from the Coptic Orthodox Church.
First built in 2007, the St Mary & St Bishoy Church had its main church inaugurated by the pontiff in 2016, which made it the first Christian place of worship in the district.
