Public Beaches & Parks Opening in Preparation for Shem El-Nessim
A joint effort by ministries has outlined the measures taken to open public spaces and manage crowds for the holiday.
The Ministry of Local Development has instructed governors to elevate preparedness levels to welcome the Shem El-Nessim celebrations and Easter on May 5th and the 6th, including the formation of emergency teams to address any faults in facilities and services at public squares, beaches and parks.
The ministry urged quick responses to citizen complaints, as well as increased cleanliness efforts, waste removal, and elimination of street clutter to enhance traffic flow and public safety. There will be intensified monitoring of taxi fares and addressing any violations, while ensuring continuous coordination between local authorities and crisis management teams to handle emergencies promptly during the holiday period.
