Ring in the Korean New Year With This Squid Game-Inspired Event

To celebrate the Korean New Year, the Korean Cultural Centre in Abu Dhabi will host ‘Year of the Blue Snake’ on Thursday, January 30th, featuring Squid Game 2-inspired activities, traditional South Korean food, workshops, and music.

Led by the centre’s director, Lee Yong Hee, attendees can channel their inner Seong Gi-hun in activities like ‘Round and Round’, inspired by season two’s Mingle Game. Visitors also get to play traditional Korean children’s games like ‘Dungle Ge Dungle Ge’, many of which have gained global recognition after being featured on the popular Netflix show.

The event will be running from 6 PM to 8 PM and is open to the public, free-of-charge, but participants are encouraged to fill in an RSVP form with their necessary details.
