Saudi Arabia Honoured for Arabic Language Propagation in South Korea
A Saudi Arabian delegation was honoured at the Seoul International Book Fair 2024 for its efforts in propagating Arabic culture.
Saudi Arabia’s delegation were the guests of honour at the recent Seoul International Book Fair 2024, where the Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission organised a seminar entitled ‘The Role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Teaching Arabic in Korea’.
Saudi diplomats at the event highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts in propagating Arabic language and history in South Korea.
The Kingdom has played a vital role in making the Arabic language one of the six officially recognised United Nations languages. The UN celebrates an official Arabic Language Day annually on December 18th.
