Saudi Arabia Suspends Multiple-Entry Visas for 14 Countries

Saudi authorities have suspended one-year multiple-entry visas for tourism, business and family visits for visitors from 14 countries. As of the beginning of February, travellers from Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen can only apply for a single-entry visa.

The single-entry visa is valid for 30 days, with a maximum stay of 30 days per visit. Applicants from these countries must submit their applications and biometrics at Etimad visa centers.

The decision aims to prevent unauthorised Hajj pilgrims, as some individuals were using long-term visit visas to bypass official quotas. Saudi Arabia allocates a specific number of Hajj slots to each country.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has opened Hajj 2025 registration for domestic pilgrims. Saudi citizens and residents can apply via the Nusuk app or the official e-portal. Priority will be given to those who have not performed Hajj before.
