Saudi Tawakkalna App Adds Missile & Drone Reporting Feature
The new feature enables citizens and residents to report missiles or drones directly to authorities to support faster response.
A new reporting service has been introduced on the Tawakkalna platform allowing citizens and residents to report sightings of missiles or drones directly to authorities.
The feature was launched by the Ministry of Defense as a channel for submitting reports of suspicious aerial objects so that relevant authorities can receive alerts quickly and assess potential threats. The service is intended to support faster response times by providing a structured mechanism for the public to share information about unusual aerial activity.
Officials said the tool forms part of efforts to strengthen coordination between the public and the defence system by enabling residents to report perceived aerial risks through a verified digital platform.
Prince Khalid bin Salman urged citizens and residents to use the Tawakkalna application to report sightings of missiles and drones, noting the armed forces’ readiness to address aerial threats.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Turki Al Maliki, said the reporting feature reflects the role that residents can play in supporting national defence by promptly sharing information about aerial objects that could pose a risk.
