The Sharjah Department of Human Resources has announced that Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, will be a public holiday for all government employees in celebration of New Year’s Day.
Work will resume on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, except for employees on a shift basis. This announcement follows the UAE government’s declaration of the same holiday for public sector employees nationwide.
