Space Commission Chairman Visits NASA to Deepen Collaboration
The discussions focused on US-Saudi collaborations in space-related industries and joint initiatives to advance innovation.
Abdullah Al-Swaha, Saudi Minister of Communications and Chairman of the Saudi Space Commission, recently met with NASA Administrator Bill Nelson during a high-level visit to the American Space Agency’s headquarters.
Their discussions focused on strategic US-Saudi collaborations in space-related industries and joint initiatives to advance space-based scientific innovations.
During his visit to the United States, the minister also met with leaders from the American Chamber of Commerce to explore potential investment opportunities in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and space technology. He additionally engaged with Saudi students studying STEM subjects at the Cultural Attaché's office and participated in the UN’s Summit of the Future, where he highlighted the Kingdom’s recent efforts to lead in the global digital economy.
