Sunday September 15th Declared Public Holiday

Egypt will observe an official public holiday for Prophet Muhammad’s birthday on Sunday, September 15th. According to a statement by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, employees in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies will receive paid leave on this day.
