Tahya Misr is Opening an All-Purpose Terminal in Alexandria Port

French shipping company CMA CGM has recently agreed to operate and manage a new all-purpose terminal in Alexandria port. The company has invested USD 175 million into the Tahya Misr terminal, which is expected to open by the end of 2022.
The Tahya Misr all-purpose terminal is scheduled to receive its first container ship this October, and then get its first cargo ship in April 2023.
CMA CGM is also bidding for the contract to build the Tenth of Ramadan dry port for EGP 3.5 billion, alongside Elsewedy Electric.
