Egyptian Telecommunications Company 'WE' has announced an increase in the prices of its landline internet packages. The price adjustments, as revealed on the company's official website, will take effect from January 5. However, browsing educational and government service websites will remain free of charge.
The 140 GB landline internet package will now cost EGP 160, excluding tax, a notable increase from the previous price of EGP 120. Similarly, the 200 GB package will be priced at EGP 225 instead of the previous EGP 170, while the 250 GB package will be available for EGP 280, up from EGP 210. Customers opting for the 400 GB package will see a price increase to EGP 440, compared to the earlier rate of EGP 340.
Moreover, the 600 GB package will now be priced at EGP 650, up from EGP 500, while the 1 TB package will cost EGP 1,050, an increase from the previous price of EGP 800.
