Telecom Egypt Raises Monthly Prices of Landlines by Up to EGP 5

Telecom Egypt has raised monthly prices for prepaid landline phones by up to EGP 5, representing up to a 25% increase in cost depending on the plan.

Changes to the monthly prices of prepaid landlines are as follows: EGP 20 bundles now cost EGP 25 (EGP 75 quarterly), EGP 35 bundles now cost EGP 40 (EGP 120 quarterly), and EGP 65 bundles now cost EGP 70 (EGP 210 quarterly).

This follows an increase of over 30% in the company’s landline internet plans in early January 2024.
