Paid Parking System Goes Into Effect Across Dubai Health Facilities

A smart paid parking management system has gone into effect across Dubai Health facilities, with the first phase launching at Rashid Hospital on September 21st under an agreement with Parkin.

Patients will continue to receive free parking for the duration of their visit, including those receiving emergency care, attending consultations or laboratory appointments, using walk-in services, or undergoing ongoing treatment.

Visitors to patients will receive up to three hours of free parking once per day after providing patient details at hospital reception. Two companions for admitted patients will be eligible for free parking for up to 24 hours, with extensions available where required.

People of Determination, senior citizens and pregnant women will continue to receive complimentary valet parking after eligibility verification. Hospital staff and authorised vehicles will also be registered within the system for access.

Standard parking fees will apply to motorists who are not visiting Dubai Health facilities, with a 30-minute daily grace period for pick-ups and drop-offs.

Optional services at participating sites will include valet parking, car washing and electric vehicle charging.

Dubai Health operates six hospitals, 26 ambulatory health centres and 20 medical fitness centres, alongside the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences and Al Jalila Foundation.
