Three New Egyptian Exhibitions Will Be Organised Overseas
From the Mediterranean coast to East Asian islands, Egyptian antiquities are set to go on quite the world tour.
The Supreme Council of Antiquities has approved the organisation of three new international exhibitions aimed at promoting Egypt's tourism sector.
In an effort to showcase Egyptian heritage overseas, ‘Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs’ will travel to Tokyo, Japan while ‘Summit of the Pyramid: Ancient Egyptian Civilization’ will showcase Egypt's history and archaeology in Shanghai, China. Additionally, ‘The Splendor of Egypt in Al-Andalus: Treasures of Tiba’ will open in Malaga, Spain.
The Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority will aid in marketing these exhibitions internationally, with the cultural partnerships aiming to boost tourism as part of the Egyptian government's objectives.
