Traffic Violators Will Have the Option to Pay Fees in Installments
Those who pay in installments will not be charged interest until September 2025.

The National Bank of Egypt announced that Egyptian nationals who have been charged with traffic violations will now be able to pay their fees in installments, as part of their new protocol with the Public Prosecution Office. The agreement is set to start some time during Ramadan.
The option to pay in installments is available to any Egyptian national who are credit card holders with the National Bank of Egypt. They will not be charged interest until September 2025; payments after September will include a reduced interest rate for installment payments.
Counselor Ali Mukhtar, Director of Prosecutions, stated that the Public Prosecution Office aims to eventually generalise partnerships to all banks operating within Egypt.
