UAE Data Centre Market to Exceed USD 3.3 Billion by 2030

The United Arab Emirates' data centre market was valued at USD 1.26 billion in 2024 and is forecast to exceed USD 3.3 billion by 2030, according to Research and Markets.

Operational and planned data-centre facilities in the UAE already account for several hundred megawatts of capacity, with investments sourced from sovereign funds, local developers, regional investors and international cloud providers. The market’s growth is driven not only by demand for storage and processing but also by national priorities around data sovereignty and infrastructure integration.

Growth is supported by major operators: for example, du reported telecom infrastructure investments of AED 545 million (USD 148 million) in 2025, up from AED 442 million (USD 120 million) in 2024, with a focus on data-centre, 5G and sovereign-cloud platforms. Meanwhile, Alibaba Cloud cited the UAE’s open regulatory environment as a key driver for new cloud-data-centre launches in Dubai.
