UAE Passport Named World’s Most Powerful for 4th Year in a Row
Emirati citizens can travel visa-free to 133 countries, and obtain visas on arrival in 47 others.
According to the Passport Index, the UAE has retained its title as the world’s most powerful passport for the fourth consecutive year. With a score of 180 points, Emirati citizens can travel visa-free to 133 countries, obtain visas on arrival in 47 others, and require prior visas for just 18 nations.
Spain secured second place with 179 points, followed by Germany and Finland, as European nations continue to dominate the rankings. France remains the strongest passport among G20 countries with 178 points.
Kosovo made the most significant leap, gaining 35 points after joining the Schengen Area. Meanwhile, the UK dropped to 32nd, and the US fell to 38th, becoming the least potent passport among the G7. In contrast, China’s passport ranked 110th.
