UAE Ranked Among Top Three Countries Globally for 2026 Hiring Growth
ManpowerGroup reports a 46% Net Employment Outlook, behind Brazil at 54% and India at 52%.
The UAE is set to record one of the strongest hiring surges anywhere in the world next year, according to new data from ManpowerGroup. The country ranks among the top three labour markets globally for projected hiring activity in 2026. The survey reports a Net Employment Outlook of 46%, with 56% of UAE employers planning to increase staff, 10% expecting reductions and 33% anticipating no change. Hiring sentiment is strongest in finance and insurance, hospitality, and automotive — sectors where expansion, new projects and continued diversification are driving recruitment. Companies also noted persistent challenges in sourcing specialised talent, particularly in technology, AI, engineering and sustainability roles, reflecting broader pressure across global labour markets. Analysts say the UAE’s position in the top tier of global hiring markets signals sustained momentum in the country’s non-oil economy, supported by ongoing investment in aviation, finance, hospitality, and emerging tech industries.
