UAE Ranked in Top 10 Globally For Road Quality & Public Transport
The UAE has been revealed to have the best roads in the region, and the best air transport services in the world.
A travel and tourism report published by the World Economic Forum has named the United Arab Emirates as one of the top ten nations in the world for road quality. The report analysed global infrastructure as part of a post-pandemic study of travel.
The UAE was awarded fifth place overall and first place regionally. The UAE has invested more than AED 13 billion in national infrastructure over the past decade, with developments in Dubai in particular almost every week.
The UAE also ranked highly in regards to public transport services, placing tenth globally and second regionally, but first overall for air transport services. General national tourist services and infrastructure placed fifth in the world, between Greece and the USA. Finally, port services were ranked ninth globally and first in the region.
