UAE Universities Rise in Top Ranks Amongst Arab Institutions
Khalifa University of Science and Technology climbed to fourth place, while UAE University moved up to fifth.
Several UAE universities have achieved top rankings in the latest QS World University Rankings for the Arab region. Khalifa University of Science and Technology climbed to fourth place, while UAE University moved up to fifth. Abu Dhabi University made a significant leap to 12th, and Ajman University rose to 17th.
In specific categories, Canadian University Dubai ranked ninth for 'academic reputation', and several institutions were recognized for their international faculty and student diversity, including Al Ain University and American University in Sharjah. Emirati universities also excelled in 'employer reputation', with Ajman University, American University of Sharjah and UAE University holding the top spots in this category.
The UAE's performance has been attributed to its high international faculty and student ratios, strong research output, and ability to attract global talent. The rankings cover 246 universities across 20 Arab countries.
