UAE's Lucky Day Lottery Held First Draw with AED 100 Million Jackpot
The UAE’s first national lottery held its inaugural draw, offering an AED 100m jackpot with tickets priced at AED 50.
After launching in November 2024, the Lucky Day Lottery - the UAE’s first national lottery - has just held its first-ever draw. The winning numbers were announced during a live broadcast on the operator’s official YouTube channel.
Organised by Game LLC and overseen by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), the Lucky Day Lottery invites participants to select six numbers from 31 in the “Day” section of the card and one number from 12 in the “Month” section. Matching all seven numbers secures the AED 100 million jackpot, while matching six “Day” numbers wins AED 1 million. Smaller cash prizes range from AED 100 to larger sums, providing multiple opportunities to win.
Tickets for the biweekly draw are priced at AED 50 and can be purchased through the UAE Lottery website. In addition to the main lottery, several scratch cards offering winnings of up to AED 1 million have been released.
The launch of the draw comes after the UAE’s GCGRA introduced regulations to establish a well-regulated commercial gaming environment. The authority, formed in September 2023, ensures all gaming activities comply with strict legal and operational standards to protect participants. Engaging with unlicensed operators remains illegal under the GCGRA framework, with severe penalties for violations.
