USD 123 Million Sewage Project Completed in Al Narjes District

The National Water Company (NWC) has announced the completion of sewage infrastructure projects worth USD 123 million in Riyadh’s Al Narjes district. The initiative aims to expand access to reliable sewage services and improve environmental sustainability in the area.

The project involved the installation of 297 km of pipelines and sewer networks, significantly upgrading wastewater management in the district. Additionally, NWC constructed a lifting station with a daily capacity of 55,000 cubic metres to ensure efficient wastewater transport and treatment.

Expected to benefit nearly 200,000 residents, the development is part of NWC’s broader strategy to enhance sanitation services across the Kingdom. The company, a government-owned joint stock entity, focuses on providing high-quality drinking water, expanding wastewater networks, and maximising the use of treated sewage effluent (TSE) for environmental and industrial purposes.
