USD 75M in Performance Bonuses Allocated for Dubai's Civil Employees
The AED 277 million payout will reward high-performing staff across civilian government sectors.

Dubai’s leadership has approved the disbursement of USD 75.4 million (AED 277 million) in performance-based bonuses for civilian government employees. The directive, issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was formally approved by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
The bonuses will be awarded based on clearly defined performance criteria. The initiative is part of a wider effort to reinforce Dubai’s competitiveness and enhance efficiency across its public institutions.
Officials described the bonus package as a reinforcement of the emirate’s commitment to merit-based recognition, with the aim of maintaining high standards within the public sector while supporting employee motivation and retention.
