Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Pens Poem for UAE President

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has penned a new poem as an ode to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Recited in his own voice and released by the Dubai Media Office, the poem is composed in the classical Emirati Nabati dialect. It speaks of strength, unity, and an unshakeable bond between two leaders at the helm of a nation that does not bend.
In the poem, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid names his pillar directly: "I have, in times of need, a support — his name is Mohammed." He declares covenants with the UAE President, calling him the pioneer who leads the nation, a profound and public declaration of trust from one ruler to another.
The poem also offers a portrait of the UAE itself, described as a high fortress, a cool shade, a cold river of generosity, and a vast sea with no boundaries. It closes with a declaration that the Union is their destiny, and that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is its pillar.
