University of Alexandria in Abu Dhabi to Open in 2025-2026

Alexandria University’s Abu Dhabi branch is on track to open with the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, following final preparations reviewed in Cairo by Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan and Egypt’s Higher Education Minister, Dr Ayman Ashour. The campus aims to establish itself within the UAE’s higher education landscape, offering dual-degree programmes and sector-relevant courses designed in collaboration with international universities.

Discussions between Emirati and Egyptian officials highlighted plans for academic partnerships, student exchange frameworks, and initiatives linking research to labour market needs. The campus is also expected to prioritise innovation and human capital development, reflecting broader efforts to deepen educational collaboration between the two countries.
