Unlicensed Lion in Maadi Seized by Ministry of Agriculture
The lion was confirmed as unregistered by the Ministry of Agriculture and taken into their custody.

A lion has been seized from a villa in Maadi and handed over to the Wild Animals Department of the Ministry of Agriculture. The lion was spotted lounging atop one of the outer walls of the villa, and the authorities were shortly notified about its presence just as a video of the animal was circulating on social media. The lion was confirmed to be unregistered with the Ministry of Agriculture, along with another 10 unregistered dogs that were found on the premises.
