Stretching out an astonishing 40,000 acres, a palm tree farm is under development in Toshka, the largest farm in Egypt and soon to be home to the biggest palm tree farm in the world.

Egyptian dates are in high demand in international markets and Toshka’s palm tree farm - situated in South Valley in Aswan - is set to provide Egypt’s finest dates to the world, adding to Egypt's overall count of 3.6 million palm trees.

The fruit seems to be having a good spell, with preparations underway for the International Dates Festival in Aswan.
