Yas Waterworld is About to Open the UAE’s Tallest Waterslide

Yas Waterworld will officially be bigger than ever after opening its expansion to the public on April 4th, adding 11 new slides and attractions to the park including the UAE's tallest waterslide.
The additions build on the park’s ‘Lost City’ theme and ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl’ storyline, introducing eight new slides, two jumping platforms and a leisure pool aimed at both thrill-seekers and families.
Among the new attractions, Matamir’s Drop is set to become the tallest waterslide in the UAE, featuring a drop of more than 40 metres and a 233-metre run with free-fall elements. Other rides include Matamir Loop, a high-speed body slide, and Matamir Splash, which allows riders to race side-by-side.
Additional features include the Al Afda platform, designed for jumping into the water below, and Sarab, a family-oriented lounging pool intended as a break area between rides.
