‘Your Farm in Egypt’ Allows Egyptian Abroad to Buy Agricultural Land

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently launched the ‘Your Farm in Egypt’ initiative, which will provide opportunities for Egyptians living abroad to acquire agricultural land, and invest in ongoing agricultural projects across Egypt.

Upon being bought, buyers abroad will be provided with a water well, equipment for animal production such as poultry, and the possibility of having produce planted for the buyer during the first five years. Buyers will be able to pay part of their price installments through earnings from their agricultural investments.

To encourage investments from Egyptians abroad and facilitate more trade in foreign currency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also launched the ‘Your Home in Egypt’ initiative, which enables residential ownership opportunities.
