Amidst the quaintness of Nasr City, it’s rare to see something so bizarre and unexpected that it could stop even the most unfazed residents dead in their tracks – but luminous dessert kiosk Crème de la Crème managed to do just that.
Nestled comfortably in one of the city's quieter alleys, the dessert kiosk has garnered quite the fan base crafting delicate dishes contrasted against such a jarring backdrop. I mean, who would expect the encounter of a creamy trés leches or a smoky St. Basque cheesecake on a random Monday evening stroll - puppies included - through the neighbourhood they know so well?
