Mochi has been causing quite the stir recently, with many brands jumping out of nowhere trying to get us into the Instagrammable Japanese dessert. The only problem, however, is that all of these brands are only in Cairo. What about the people of Alexandria? Do they just not get their fair share of mochi? A new brand by the name of Mow-Chee is changing thins up in the Pearl of the Mediterranean by giving them what they deserve: mochi!

Mow-Chee has some of the most delectable, luscious texture you’ll ever see with mochi. To those who have never tried, the authentic Japanese dessert is a delicious chewy rice cake filled to the brim with decadent ice cream. For the longest time, it was pretty difficult to find mochi in Egypt…but we’re very happy the mochi revolution has begun, and is reaching Alexandria.

The flavours will take you on yalahwi-inducing journey, from refreshing and fruity to creamy. You can go absolutely crazy with mango, strawberry (along with mochi chocolate-covered strawberries) and chocolate for now, but they plan on releasing a bunch of new flavours really, really soon.
