A Mesmerising Melange of Styles in ‘Loft In The Woods’ by Sarah Habib
This conceptual interior design presents raw yet luxe visuals in a double-heighted space overlooking a forest in Australia.

Through a compelling medley of styles, Egyptian 3D visualisation artist Sarah Habib created an effortlessly luxe living environment in ‘Loft In The Woods’, a conceptual interior design based in an Australian forest setting. Using dark hues to imbue the open interior with a stunning gravitas, the designer carefully placed furniture in subtly decorated areas that share uninterrupted views of the outdoor greenery, creating a calm ambiance within.
Presenting the key aesthetics of each zone through a variety of nuanced perspectives, the design features a living space with a brown leather sofa and a bench with zebra prints placed alongside playful sculptures. The flooring’s uneven and rugged tiles give off an industrial feel that extends to the mezzanine through a metal staircase that leads to the bed.
While ceilings are usually left unattended in terms of colour and pattern, a portion of the lattice ceiling above the bed is covered with a gold brush, offering a dramatic and elevated view of the residence. While charcoal, grey and black tones give the space its character and adds a sense of drama to its experience, it’s the lighting that frames the design as a functional one, with a variety of lighting solutions spread throughout - from the chain pendants hanging above the living zone to the sleek lighting in the kitchen.
