Meow Tours Hosts Charitable Yoga Class to Help HOPE Baladi Rescue
Animal lovers are invited to stretch their legs and head to Downtown Cairo's Kodak Passageway on February 2nd, where Meow Tours is hosting the second edition of "Yoga to Help Animals".
"Downward-Facing Dog" isn't just the name of a yoga position. It's a yoga position you can perform to help hundreds of actual dogs at HOPE, the rescue and rehabilitation centre dedicated to protecting Egypt's stray and abandoned canines. Animal lovers are invited to stretch their legs and head to Downtown Cairo's Kodak Passageway on February 2nd, where Meow Tours is partnering up with Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment to hold the second edition of "Yoga to Help Animals"!
Starting at 6:30 PM, this pay-what-you-can Hatha Yoga session will be led by Isabella, a certified instructor with over 500 hours from India, and is open for people of all skill levels. The session is donation based, with all proceeds going to HOPE, a non-profit organisation that provides a network of rescuers, sponsors and medical resources for Egypt's stray animals.
Meow Tours is an organisation dedicated to raising awareness of Egypt's stray population through a series of walking tours. Their next trip will be held on February 4th, where animal lovers will be able to join them to visit two dog shelters in Cairo.
Availability is limited, and is on a first-come first-serve basis. To register, visit the events page on Meow Tour's Facebook page. They also let you donate if you want to do so without going for the yoga session.
