New App Launched for Freight Booking & Tracking Services in Dubai
Logisty is a new app by the Roads and Transport Authority made to simplify the user’s travel experiences.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced Logisty, a digital platform to enhance commercial transport services for customers and businesses. This platform will be used to manage logistics and vehicle fleets while offering on-demand booking and tracking.
Developed with TruKKer, the largest digital logistics company in the GCC, Logisty includes an AI-powered CBM Calculator that enables users to upload photos or videos for quick shipment volume estimates, eliminating manual measurements.
Additionally, RTA Director-General Mattar Al Tayer revealed a plan to boost the logistics sector's contribution to Dubai's economy to AED 16.8 billion, while enhancing efficiency and technology use. This initiative supports Dubai’s goal of becoming a top economic city through advanced technology and better services.
The city currently hosts over 10,000 transport companies and has seen a 34% annual growth in the logistics sector for the past five years.
