Sharjah Property Fees to Be Slashed at ACRES Real Estate Exhibition
Sharjah cuts real estate fees for ACRES 2025, with new rates for developers and buyers, alongside updated enforcement measures.
Sharjah’s real estate sector is set to receive a boost, as the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) announces plans to reduce transaction fees for the ACRES Real Estate Exhibition 2025.
In response to the growing interest from investors and a rapidly expanding real estate market in the Emirate, SEC has approved the reduction of sale and purchase fees for transactions executed at the upcoming exhibition. The new fees include a 0.5% sale fee for real estate developers, 1% for UAE citizens and GCC nationals, and 2% for buyers from other nationalities.
This fee reduction is expected to encourage more investment in the Emirate’s real estate sector and provide a more favorable environment for transactions at the ACRES exhibition. With increasing demand for real estate in Sharjah, this move aims to solidify the Emirate’s position as a key player in the region’s property market.
In addition to the fee changes, the SEC has introduced new enforcement procedures to strengthen the legal processes for real estate transactions. The establishment of an Enforcement Department at the Rental Disputes Centre will oversee the execution of judgments and enforcement decisions issued by the Centre's Enforcement Judge. This new department will ensure that all enforcement measures are handled effectively, including appeals, suspensions, notifications, and public auctions.
