Egypt Launches Hotline & Support Unit for Citizens Abroad Amid Regiona

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set up a dedicated support unit and hotline for Egyptians in the region amid the ongoing escalation. The ministry formed a working cell within its consular sector and activated a WhatsApp contact line for inquiries from Egyptians about their safety and conditions abroad, with continuous 24‑hour follow‑up with Egyptian missions in affected countries.

The unit was activated following recent US and Israeli strikes on Iran and subsequent regional retaliation. The support hotline is 00201226858000.
