Amina Orfi Stuns El Sherbini to Win First Squash World Title

Egypt’s Amina won the first world title of her career at the CIB Palm Hills PSA World Championships 2025–2026, defeating fellow Egyptian and eight time world champion Nour El Sherbini in four games in an all-Egyptian final. The world No 3 overcame the world No 2 to secure the biggest title of her career to date. The victory marks another milestone for the 18 -year-old, who has steadily risen through the professional ranks in recent seasons, while the final once again underlined Egypt’s continued dominance of the women’s game, with two Egyptian players contesting the championship match on squash’s biggest stage.
