Now, that genius arrives in Egypt. Iniesta Academy, the global football institution founded by the Spanish superstar himself, has launched in Egypt, marking its first-ever expansion into Africa. Renowned for its holistic training approach, focusing on technical football skills as well as values such as discipline, teamwork, and creativity, Iniesta Academy is rooted on the principles and mindset that defined the decorated career of Andrés Iniesta - and the prowess that made the midfield magician one of the defining players of his generation. “This project is a game-changer for football development in Egypt,” Khalifa says. “Our goal is to build a platform that truly develops talent and connects Egypt to the global football ecosystem.” Powered by Stamina Sports and Fitness and CEO Hassan Khalifa, the expansion into Egypt reflects a shared vision to nurture young talent and build the next generation of football talent across the continent. The academy will operate its summer program during July and August in Diplo 3 in Egypt’s North Coast. After the summer, the academy will move to Cairo for its full year-round operations, bringing international standards for youth infrastructure and coaching methodologies, and a structured pathway toward professional football to a country whose appetite and passion for the beautiful game has often outpaced its resources.
