EgyptAir to Launch Direct Cairo-Birmingham Flights in October

EgyptAir will launch direct flights between Cairo and Birmingham on October 25th, operating four weekly services and making Birmingham its third destination in the United Kingdom after London and Manchester.

“The launch of this new route represents an important addition to EgyptAir’s network in the UK market, providing passengers with an additional option for travelling between the UK and numerous destinations in Africa, the Middle East and the Far East,” said Amr Adawy, head of commercial affairs at EgyptAir Airlines.

The national carrier will use Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft on the route. The service follows an agreement signed between EgyptAir and Birmingham Airport on the sidelines of the El Alamein International Airshow.
