The 18-year-old Egyptian’s goals came within 14 minutes during a game against CD Montecarlo
Egyptian footballing sensation Hamza Abdelkarim is lighting up Barcelona's Juvenil A (U19) side, and he saved his best performance for last. During the final matchday of the league, the 18-year-old scored a stunning hat-trick against Montecarlo, etching his name into the club's youth history books.
All three goals came in a blistering 14-minute spell, helping Barcelona race into a commanding 4-0 lead by half-time. With that result, Barcelona are closing in on the youth league title, sitting top of Group 3 with a comfortable gap over city rivals Espanyol, as they await the official coronation.
Abdelkarim became the first Egyptian in Catalonian colours when he joined the side during the January transfer window on a six-month loan from Egyptian giants Al-Ahly. Barcelona hold an option to make the deal permanent. On current form, that conversation won't take long.
