King Faisal University Climbs 81 Places in QS Rankings 2027
The university reached 567th globally after rising for the third consecutive year.
King Faisal University has climbed 81 places in the QS World University Rankings 2027, reaching 567th globally and ranking eighth among Saudi universities.
King Faisal University advanced from the 761–770 band in the 2025 rankings to 648th in the 2026 edition before rising to 567th in the 2027 table.
The latest edition of the rankings evaluates more than 1,500 institutions worldwide and marks the university's third consecutive year of improvement.
The improvement was driven by stronger performance across several indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations, international collaboration and sustainability.
The QS World University Rankings assess institutions based on a range of indicators, including faculty-to-student ratio, employment outcomes and research performance, providing a benchmark for global academic standing.
