Entertainment events and activities across Saudi Arabia attracted 45.7 million visitors during the first half of 2026, with overall visitor satisfaction reaching 96%, according to the General Entertainment Authority (GEA).

The authority said it continued to strengthen the sector's regulatory and oversight framework during the period in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to the GEA, more than 2,500 licences for entertainment and related activities were issued during the first six months of the year. The regulator also conducted more than 8,500 inspection visits across the Kingdom to ensure compliance with regulations while improving service quality, safety standards and operational efficiency.
