Train Tickets Can Now Be Booked Up to 15 Days in Advance

Passengers can now book train tickets up to 15 days before departure, following an update by the National Authority for Egyptian Railways.

The new window replaces the previous 24-hour limit for advance reservations and is available through the Egyptian National Railways website and mobile application.

The service covers air-conditioned trains, third-class air-conditioned trains and dynamic-pricing services. Passengers can also use the app to check schedules, review service information and purchase electronic tickets. Payments can be completed by credit card or through direct deductions from bank accounts.

The authority said the update forms part of wider efforts to improve railway ticketing and expand digital services, reducing the need to visit ticket offices and giving passengers more time to plan journeys.
