UAE's Non-Oil Foreign Trade Nears AED 2 Trillion in H1 2026

The UAE's non-oil foreign trade reached AED 1.937 trillion during the first half of 2026, marking a 13.1% increase compared with the same period last year and bringing the total close to AED 2 trillion within six months.

The figures were shared by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who described the results as a new record for the first half of the year.

Non-oil exports also reached a record AED 452.8 billion between January and June 2026, representing a 23.4% year-on-year increase.

According to Sheikh Mohammed, the figures reflect more than trade performance, pointing to the strength of the UAE economy, the effectiveness of the country's development strategies and growing confidence among international trading partners.

The UAE Government Media Office also reported that trade with countries covered by active Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) reached AED 304.3 billion during the first half of 2026.
