Workplace risk awareness among employees in Saudi Arabia reached 76.7% in 2025, according to data released by the General Authority for Statistics in its Health and Safety at Workplace Statistics bulletin.
The report also recorded an occupational injury rate of 245 non-fatal injuries and 1.3 fatal injuries per 100,000 workers aged 15 and above, excluding road traffic accidents.
Survey responses indicate that 51.8% of workers said their employers had implemented preventive safety measures.
Meanwhile, 46.6% reported the presence of at least one initiative aimed at facilitating daily work tasks, and 34.5% said they had access to at least one employer-provided health-related resource. The data highlights physical strain as a key workplace concern.
Standing for four or more hours per day was identified as the most common risk, cited by 25.3% of respondents. Fatigue or working beyond capacity followed at 16.7%.
Over the past 12 months, work-related stress was the most commonly reported health issue, affecting 6% of workers, followed by eye and vision problems at 3%.
The findings are based on self-reported data collected as part of the 2025 workplace health and safety survey, offering insight into working conditions, employer practices and occupational risks across sectors in the Kingdom.
