Falling debris from a drone interception in Al Kharj province, southeast of Riyadh, caused two minor injuries and limited material damage, according to Saudi civil defence.
The incident resulted in damage to three homes and several vehicles in the area. Authorities said Saudi defence systems intercepted the drone over Al Kharj, with debris falling to the ground following the operation.
The province is home to Prince Sultan Air Base.
Officials described the injuries as minor and confirmed that response teams handled the situation, with damage contained to a limited number of properties.
